August 4, 200223 yr Has anyone been able to get this thing to work with th Logitech Wingman Extreme? I have tried everything and I cannot get this to work. I have read the manual, the tutorial, and the forums, and no luck. Please post a copy of the file or let me know if you can send me a copy of Dauphin.cfg so I can get this working. Thank youBrian
August 5, 200223 yr Have you tried the new .gau file, go down the topics to 'dauphin help page', there may be something there to help (inc. new .gau)Alun
August 14, 200223 yr Yes.I have tried the new gauge. I have tried all of the combinations listed in the manual. I have tried all of the help websites. I have looked in FS2k2 at the control assignments and tried those. None of these suggestions have worked. So I am just asking for joystick specific help. This is a fairly common joystick. If anyone has this particular joystick and has gotten it working PLEASE let me know.
August 14, 200223 yr I use the Wingman Extreme for cyclic and collective, CH Pedals for yaw and Ch Yoke for pan_view. All USB.I /Tord Hoppe, Sweden
August 14, 200223 yr I've just checked the manual again, and according to Antti, the Dauphin.cfg that comes with the download is set up for Logitech Wingman Extreme and CH Pro pedals, so it should be a case of changing the line "number_of_devices=2" to =1, and reassign the Yaw=... or remove that line comletely. Not wishing to teach you to suck eggs, but, I take it you have copied the Dauphin.cfg (not the aircraft.cfg) to the main FS2002 folder, copied the Dauphin.gau to the FS2002/gauges folder and starting the aircraft with the joystick disabled? If so, are you getting any response at all from the joystick, is it just some of the controls/buttons that aren't working? When your sat in the aircraft have you pressed Shift+2 before attempting to fly?Let me know how you get on.Alun
