August 18, 200223 yr Hi all,Just thought I'd let you know that Antti has uploaded v1.1 of his Dauphin to the AVSIM library. This release incorporates a new .gau file, improved documents, 8 bit non-reflective textures (as well as the normal reflective textures) for those who can't handle the normal ones, and a simple engine start/stop sequence (essentialy 1 keystroke), plus other stuff I probably haven't noticed!!!!Go get it!Alun
August 18, 200223 yr Just when I finally have it figured out...... sorta! :-lol I'll grab it as soon as I find it.-Lindy :-wave
August 18, 200223 yr Thanks, the thing kind of grows on ya, I find myself going to it more and more........John
August 19, 200223 yr I see in the filelist.txt file - that there is a new dauphin.gau file. This does not appear to be installed when running the self installer, the date of my dauphin.gau is 26/07/2002 10:39. I have also removed the gauge to see if it puts it back after running the self installer but does not install. I think the installer is asking for the wrong directory.???
August 19, 200223 yr I have found it inside the reinstalled panel folder so u will have to move it yourself into the FS2002 gauges folder and u will be request to overwrite and see the date difference. Should have done search before writing the above.
August 19, 200223 yr Unfortunately the installer doesn't put all the files in the right place, if you take a look in the manual, it say's which files to move. You'll need to go into the aircraft folder and open the Panel folder, here you'll find the Dauphin.gau, copy to your main FS Gauges folder. You'll also find the waypoint.txt and Dauphin.cfg files, these go into your main FS folder, ONLY if you hadn't installed version 1! If you had the previous version, you don't need to move the .txt and .cfg files at all. The date/time of the .gau should be 15 August 2002 6:50:04 PM, or later. Hope this Helps!!!Alun
