http://ftp.avsim.com/cgi-bin/dcforum/dcboa...ewmode=threadedI've tried downloading the texture program twice in the event that it was somehow corrupted the first time.Click the above link to see the message I got when trying to install.Has anyone successfully installed it?

Cannot d/l the text file but have managed to run the loader file. Looks ok but would like the text file - will just have to wait. Tried 3 times but hangs at 99%.:-(

Okay, it appears you are having the same problem someone over at Flightsim.com FS2002 forum encountered.Just a little backgroundI do a little FoxPro programming for a long-time friend with a small business. A while back I sent him some revisions he'd requested and one file, a small database, kept showing up as being corrupted. After much headscratching, I decided to pack this file with WinZip, which I hadn't done previously because it was so small. However, packing it up with WinZip cured the problem.Fastforward to yesterday. I have posted the file you are having trouble with on my webspace http://members.shaw.ca/cbooth/Bell47gmaxtext1.zipThis worked for the other guy..... give it a try.Calhover long and prosper

You, Sir, are a gentleman and a scholar! :-beerchug

Thanks Cal - will try it, d/l now. Will let u knowDenis Brown from years ago.

Yeah, Cal, that worked! And all you did was pack it into a zipped folder? What I did after I downloaded from your site was to double-click the zipped folder open, dragged out the .exe, double-clicked the .exe and it installed just as it should. Thanks!

Like the Colonel would way, "Don'tch just love it when a plan comes together?"Yep, all I did was pack it up with WinZip (8.0). It appears that this problem is both content and ISP dependent. There is something in that file that causes certain ISPs to change (corrupt) it. It's likely to do with the server software -- a tiny bug that only occurs under the right conditions and goes undetected. This just happens to be one.Glad it worked.Calhover long and prosper(NOT a gentleman or a scholar, just a Grumpy old F**t.)

Thanks Cal - the d/l of the texture file worked in zip form. Looks great now.All the best Denis Brown

WOW!!Very smooth flying... fun to fly. After I landed, I zoomed in close, and then worked the controls. The control linkages behind the cockpit all move, the rotor pitch (both main and anti-torque) changes, the pilot's arms and legs move in conjunction with the control movements. The detail is incredible. Very, very NICE!!Tom

Hey guys,I'm having problems with the base chopper file...it hangs on 99% as someone's already said. Got a quick fix, Cal? ;) Seriously though, I've tried trillions (well, four) times including with DAP and it still hangs with a damn smidge to go...Please help, dying of frustration...Balkan
