Search and Rescue 4?

Featured Replies

Has anybody tried Search and Rescue 4 or Vietnam Medevac? They look pretty cool but looks aren't everything. I'd like to hear some firsthand accounts if anybody feels like sharing.

I saw some screens of the Vietnam one and it looked pretty cheesy, I would be curious to know if anyone has it and if it is as cheesy as it looks or maybe it was just the screens.Regards, Michaelhttp://mysite.verizon.net/res052cd/mybannercva1.jpgCalVirAir International VAwww.calvirair.comCougar Mountain Helicopters & Aviationwww.cgrmtnhelos.com

I've tried it, and I did'nt find it so interesting. It's not all that bad, but the graphic is'nt much to look at, but the helicopters itself is quite nice. Sounds well too :)The Vietnam thing is exact the same sim, but with only one chopper, the huey. and it's all in Vietnam :)------------Fredrik Wold >:-) (Vikings from north)

Hi all,I have an occasionally play SAR3 and have played the demo of VM - I didn't bother with SAR4 because it looked pretty similar to SAR3 and I know what that is about! All in all, they are nice games - and I mean that, they don't really strike me as accurate simulators compared to some other software. They are fairly lacking in what you can do though. One rescue tends to blur into another fairly quickly in long sessions. The VM demo I had problems even flying the helo, so I won't be getting that I suspect. It did make a change, getting shot at, though. ;-)Ian P.:-halo

Thanks for the input guys.
