November 10, 200421 yr Hi,I've just purchased a collective from Flight Link and I'm having trouble setting it up for FS2004.I've managed to reverse the "throttle" settings thanks to an earlier posting. But the collective is only responsive in a very tiny portion of the range regardless of the sensitivity settings in FS2004. This makes it unflyable.I'd welcome any hints from someone who is using a Flight Link collective wit FS2004Thanks
November 18, 200421 yr I have the Flight Link collective. My only issue with it was the throttle (twist) response, which as you say is related to knowing that you have to check the sensitivity in FS2004. It took me about a week to figure that out! The collective (up/down) axis has always worked fine.I'm assuming that you have calibrated the collective axis in Windows, and have insured that that axis is assigned to the "Throttle" axis in FS2004. The only other thing that I can think of that would result in a small response area is that you set something up in FSUIPC.DL's axis filtering for another controller that you had before, whose axis ID has been assumed by the FL collective. (This is a long-shot, wild-assed guess BTW 8^) .)I have the USB version - I am not familiar with the gameport one.Dave Blevins System: Asus P8Z68 Deluxe/Gen3 mobo *** i7 2700K @ 5gHz w/ Corsair H80 cooler NVidia GTX 570 OC *** 8 GB 1600 Corsair Vengeance DRAM *** CoolerMaster HAF X case System overclocked and tuned for FSX by fs-gs.com Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog stick/throttle & CH Products Pro Pedals Various GoFlight panels *** PFC avionics stack
