best 727 panel for FS2002

Featured Replies

Can anyone suggest a good 727 panel + sounds, not so heavy to drop performance...Thanks,Ulisses

Ulisses -- best 727 panel I've seen is the following:Category: FS2002 panelFile name: Rp727pn3.zipAuthor: Richard ProbstE-mail: [email protected]: August 31, 2002License: FreewareGood luck. Greg.

but captainsim 727 isn't available yet, right ?Ulisses

I also highly recomnend the new Richard Probst 727 panel as it's the best I've ever seen for a 727, whether it be freeware or payware. I have had an opportunity to use the CaptSim 727 and I wasn't fussy on it at all. I am well aware that the Captsim package is not complete, but unless they totally redo the panel and gauges for much better readability, I cannot see it getting much better. I use a large 20" monitor and have a top end graphics card and my graphic settings are very high and still its very difficult to read the Captsim panel gauges.Dreamfleet is also working on what looks like to be a great 727 package and with their wonderful panels that they have already created, it's sure to be a hit.Kindest Regards,Vanhttp://www.yeodesigns.com/signatures/yeode...nner-van2-1.jpg[/img]

I second that on the probost panel. It's very very well done. I had purchased the captainsim 727 but asked for a refund right away because I could not read most of the gauges espically on the enginerr panel. That's not to say it's not good work though .It looks great and the planes are awesome and fps friendly.I just could not get past some of these issues. If you do not mind smaller gauges then by all means get the CS model.I had all my activation done within 1 hour of purchase .Just keep in mind it will have it's share of bugs at this point.Capt.Richard Dillon (KATL)www.jetstarairlines.comhttp://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpghttp://jdtllc.com/images/RCsupporter.jpg"Lets Roll" 9/11 -----------------------Specs AMD 1600 XP MSI KT 266t pro2 512MB DDR 2100GF3 ti 200 64MB SBliveCh Products Yoke and Pedals(usb)Windows 2000 Serivce Pack 3

Hi,I had a problem to use the probost panel at night, I can't turn all lights on...any idea ?thanks, ulisses

There is a light toggle button that opens up a partial overhead panel. Once this panel is open you will see all the various controls for the panel lighting and it is very well done I might add.Regards,Vanhttp://www.yeodesigns.com/signatures/yeode...nner-van2-1.jpg[/img]

Yes like those exactly! :)Keep up the good work Paul...Looking forward to adding the DF727 to my hanger. I love the DF734 panel and I know the 27 will be even better.Kindest Regards,http://www.yeodesigns.com/signatures/yeode...nner-van2-1.jpg[/img]

PaulI used your FS98 727 panel until FS2002 came out :D. I have been waiting for the DF release for quite sometime.I really look forward to getting that.I know DF's quality of work all to well. I saw those pictures the day they were posted. It looks awesome :) . Iam hoping you guys might plan to put a GPS in there because even though most 727 do not use them most of the ones I have seen in recent years do.Maybe there could be a different panel config that would use the DreamFleet GPS on the cardinal ? . I really look forward to getting that bird. I hope it will be out soon Capt.Richard Dillon (KATL)www.jetstarairlines.comhttp://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpghttp://jdtllc.com/images/RCsupporter.jpg"Lets Roll" 9/11 -----------------------Specs AMD 1600 XP MSI KT 266t pro2 512MB DDR 2100GF3 ti 200 64MB SBliveCh Products Yoke and Pedals(usb)Windows 2000 Serivce Pack 3

You won't be disappointed. As you can see, we're doing the 727 as it's been used in recent years. Athough there's a misconception that the EFIS instrumented version will need the FMC (no, I'm not including an FMC), but I am hoping to include more than one navigation option - aside from basic instruments that is.All the best,http://www.dreamfleet2000.com/gfx/images/F...BANNER_PAUL.jpg

My credit card just went back into the wallet. Looks like I'll be holding out for Dreamfleet. Can't wait, guys. Keep up the good work.-John
