Aligning Flight plans with Radar Contact

Hi Folks,Have put some of these flight plans into the dreamfleet 734 FMC. No problems at all. However, in order to use Radar Contact I put the way points into NAV. Often NAV does not have some of the way points in its database. Do you know how this can be updated- it would be a pity to disregard real flight plan way points just because Nav and hence RC do not recognize them. Thanks in advance!
