February 8, 200323 yr Well, now that Project Mach 2's amazing Concorde has been released, I would like to fly this baby as it is done in real life. However, I don't have any information as to the placement of waypoints and altitude changes both en route as well as during departure and arrival.Could anybody help me out here - be it with an URL or, better yet, a readily configured flight plan in FSNav 4.51 or basic FS 2002 format?Cheers,
February 8, 200323 yr Hi Dominik,Here are the flightplans for the concorde...AFR001 KJFK-LFPG CONC/HN0530F330 DCT SHIPP DCT C/LINND/M200F500F600 DCT 3952N06815W 4025N06700W 4307N06000W NATSN 4941N01500N SL7 GUR/N0530F330 SL7 INGOR/N0530F270 SL7 DVLAFR002 LFPG-KJFK CONC/HN0530F280 C/EVX/M200F310F450 SL4 C/5041N01500W/M200F450F600 NATSM 42N067W SM2 CAMRNBAW1 EGLL-KJFK CONC/HN0560F280 C/MERLY/M200F310F450 SL2 C/5041N01500W/M200F450F600 NATSM 42N067W SM2 CAMRNBAW2 KJFK-EGLL CONC/HN0560F290 DCT SHIPP DCT C/LINND/M200F500F600 DCT 3952N06815W 4025N06700W 4307N06000W NATSN 4941N01500N SL3 BARIX/N0560F330 SL3 PITEM UP2 NIGITI'm sorry I can't help you with a FSNav-flightplan, but if you're looking for a good 'tutorial', try this: http://www.speedbirdonline.co.uk/Downloads...e/EGLL_KJFK.pdf :)Regards,Koen
February 8, 200323 yr Hi Koen, If I can just add some comments regarding the BA FP's. FL260 is now used to the acceleration point out of the UK - fuel burn is more economical at these altitudes, as well as some other factors. Therefore: The FP out of London should read;EGLL N0530F260 CPT DCT MALBY C/ACCEL PT/M200F260F450 SL2 C/5041N01500W/M200F450F600 NATSM...KJFKAlso, into JFK, you'll most likely fly the SM2, however when Kennedy is landing on the 22's the SM1 is flown which will bring you in from the north-east, rather than the CAMRN3 South approach. The SM3 is used into Washington. For returning flights to London: Last night BA002 was on the OCK1F, however most nights you will find that it flies the OCK1A approach and the following FP applies: KJFK K9 SHIPP A523 C/LINND/M200F500F600 3SN 3952N06815W 4025N06700W 4307N06000W NATSN 4941N01500W SL3 MATIM/N0530F370 SL3 KENET OCK1A EGLL EGKK 0318FL370 is usually used on the SL3, FL390 on the SL1 for the subsonic cruise towards MATIM or 0159W. The tutorial I wrote should outline some the basic procedures used on the route, any further questions please feel free to contact me. Hope this helps! February 9, 200323 yr Hi Andrew,Thanks for that. I wasn't really sure about the British Airways flightplans, becuase I only had the real world route from a few days ago (no speed and altitude). :)The Air France flightplans are copied from real world ones of about 2 years ago.Regards,Koen
