October 5, 200322 yr Hi there,I just came across of this wonderful source of real world fp's!Can somebody help me with a link where the format of the flightplans is explained? Or maybe somebody would be so kind to explain it here? For example this fp:(FPL-SAS983-IS-A343/H-SIJRWXY/SD-EKCH1345-N0486F310 DCT SIMEG UZ491 TELMO UL983 ROE UM864KOLJA UM611 SORLA UP862 LIMAK/K0900S0910 G59 GR R30SU/K0882S1010 R30 KTL R22 ADISA B486 MEDON B154UERL A333 TAMAR/K0882S1110 A333 UHHH R211 SOLAN B358IGROD/N0478F370 R347 GTC R211 KASMI DCT CVC DCT-RJAA1018 RJTT-EET/EVRR0046 EETT0053 ULLL0116 ULWW0148 ULKK0216 UUYY0235UUYP0301 USHB0318 USDS0358 UOTT0432 UERR0543 UEEE0618 UELL0640UHBB0724 UHHH0753 UHWW0832 RJTG0912DAT/VS)Or this one:VIR18 KEWR-EGLL A343/H EOBT/1220 TTL_EET/0632N0470F370 DCT MERIT DCT HFD DCT PUT DCT BOS DCT BRADD DCT BANCS/M082F370 DCT 46N050W 47N040W 48N030W 50N020W DCT SOMAX/M082F390 UN503 KENUK/N0470F390 UN503 GAPLI UR8 GIBSO OCK1E I am familiar with the airways, ICAO identifier for the airport and DCT stands for Direct...... The basics I know.But there are a lot of other things in here....What means LIMAK/K0900S0910, EOBT/1220 , TTL_EET/0632, N0470F370, M082F390, Any help would be appreciated.Thanks,Christiaan Gorter
October 5, 200322 yr Hi Christiaan,Here's a document that explains the format of the first flightplan you posted (standard ICAO format): http://www.iaopa.org/downloads/fltpln.pdfThe second format (VIR18) is in a format I partly made myself. It's something like a abbreviation of the ICAO format: besides the callsign, the route and the aircraft type, only the date of flight (DOF/), departure time (estimated off block time, EOBT/) and/or time enroute (total estimated enroute/elapsed time, TTL_EET/) will be mentioned. If you've any questions after reading the document, just ask... :)Kind regards,http://home.planet.nl/~duijn181/cu2/koen.jpg
