December 17, 200322 yr Hey all. I'm looking for flight plans form TAM airlines, more specifically flight plans for their A319 and 320 aircraft. Even more specifically, if somebody can find me the flight plans for SBRJ-SBSP and vice versa that would be wonderful. This is a very fun and short flight that links Brazil's two most important cities: beautiful Rio de Janeiro and horrible (nothing to see there)Sao Paulo. LOL. This is a private Brazilian joke cause we Cariocas (Rio residents) and the Paulistas (SP residents) have this eons old quarrel that's about as nasty as the Middle East.Anyway, both this small aeroports are the primary destinaitons for domestic flights departing from and arriving to these cities, and they have some very nice approaches. (Specially if you own Real Flight's WonderFul Rio). Cheers,Victor M. Lima

December 24, 200322 yr Author Hey Koen, that site from Brazil's DAC is great, thank you for the link. However, they generally only write the airway used by the flights, disregarding the fixes where the aircraft join or leave the airway. for example, in one Varig SBRJ-SBSP flight the only informaiton available under route is UW63. Is there anywhere else where I can find more comprehensive Brazilian flightplans? tanks again, Victor Cheers,Victor M. Lima
December 24, 200322 yr Hi Victor,I'm afraid you won't find more comprehensive Brazilian flightplans, because the flightplans I gave you a link to are actually the complete real world routes. In Brazil, you only have to file an airway between airports (for the RPL's at least), without a start and/or end fix. For example, if you fly SBRJ-SBSP, you only tell the ATC that you want to fly via UW63. Then the ATC can decide which SID and STAR it assigns, and thus where you enter/exit the airway. :)Cheers,http://home.planet.nl/~duijn181/cu2/koen.jpg http://home.planet.nl/~duijn181/cu2/deer.gif
