December 30, 200322 yr Hey there, today I am looking for a very unique delivery flightplan. I'd like to deliver a Boeing 737-700NG from Everett/Seattle to somewhere in Germany (Berlin Tegel would be nice but Frankfurt or Munich are also okay). Since the 737-700 doesn't make in directly over the pond there should be a fuelstop in either Hallifax or Gander.I'd appreciate it if someone could help me out with a route for this flightkind RGDS,Flo (TXL,Germany)
December 30, 200322 yr Hi,It's actually not very economic to fly KBFI-EDDT via Halifax or Gander. Boeing delivers almost all of its aircraft that can't cross the pond at once via Iceland; so I copied a real-world Boeing 737-700 delivery flightplan (KBFI-BIKF, for Malev) from my database and made a generic route for BIKF-EDDT... :)KBFI-BIKF B737/M TTL_EET/0648N0450F370 DCT FOLDY J503 YNY J527 YMM NCAC 6430N09000W/M078F390 NCAC CANEL/M078F410 DCT 68N050W 67N040W 66N030W DCT GIMLI DCTBIKF-EDDT B737/M TTL_EET/0306M078F370 DCT SKARD DCT 63N015W 62N010W DCT SIDER/N0450F390 UM125 SUM UL7 FORTY UP60 VES/N0449F410 UP992 LBE UL619 VIBIS VIBIS1HEnjoy the flight and Happy New Year!Cheers,http://home.planet.nl/~duijn181/cu2/koen.jpg
December 31, 200322 yr Thanks Koen for these plans, they are awesome. Didn't know that the flights were going via BIKF but I do now remember that Airbus was delivering their planes to the US via Goose Bay. But Iceland is just fine ;-)Thanks again and a happy new year to you too!kind RGDS,Flo (TXL,Germany)
January 1, 200422 yr Hey Koen, just a little question came up when I tried to build that plan. What does the NCAC mean? Thanks again...kind RGDS,Flo (TXL,Germany)
January 1, 200422 yr Hi,NCAC is an airway through Northern Canadian Airspace (NCA). You can compare it with the NAT routes over the Atlantic, with the difference that the NCA's don't change. When flying to the north, NCAC starts at YMM and then goes via DUROT, YSF, 6130N10000W (6N100), 6430N09000W (N6490), 6630N08000W (N6680) and 6730N07000W (N6770) to CANEL.Cheers,http://home.planet.nl/~duijn181/cu2/koen.jpg
January 6, 200422 yr How about a direct flight from KSEA to EDDF. What would be the flight plan for that?Neal
January 6, 200422 yr Hi Neal,I don't have a real world flightplan for KSEA-EDDF, but for an almost empty Boeing 777 it would be something like this... :)KSEA-EDDF B772/HN0468F370 DCT YDC J503 YNY J527 YZU DCT YBE NCAB BOPUT/M084F390 DCT 69N050W 69N040W 67N030W 66N020W 64N010W DCT SIDER/N0482F410 UM125 SUM UL7 VENAS/N0481F430 UL74 MONIL UB1 DIDAM UL603 TEBRO T150 OTKUR OTKUR1ECheers,http://home.planet.nl/~duijn181/cu2/koen.jpg
January 8, 200422 yr But a 772ER could make it fully loaded. At least according to Boeing it could. Thanks for the plans.Neal
January 8, 200422 yr It's true that a Boeing 777-200ER can fly that route fully loaded, but I had the first part of a real world plan for an empty one, so I finished that... ;)Cheers,http://home.planet.nl/~duijn181/cu2/koen.jpg
