January 5, 200422 yr SullyI am not sure if my question should be posted here or not but does anyone know of where I can get the navigational charts that have the 360 degree circle over a given area with a given frequency so that I can navigate from VOR to VOR?I know that there must be a technical term for these types of charts but I do not know it.Any help would be greatly appreciated.
January 6, 200422 yr Hi,I can probably provide you with the charts you need, but I'm not sure where you're looking for exactly. Maybe you have an example of which type of chart you'd like to get? :)Cheers,http://home.planet.nl/~duijn181/cu2/koen.jpg
January 6, 200422 yr SullyKoen, are you familiar with the navigational charts supplied with Flight Sim 2002?I believe that there is a Cargo,Alaskan etc.selected flights that came with that game.I'm trying to find those types of charts for the Northwest Ohio, southern Michigan area clear to the Chicago area.I had heard that there was a web site called www.fs charts.com that would have all kinds of charts but I get no response.
January 6, 200422 yr Hi,As far as I know there are two types of charts included with FS2002: Sectional VFR charts and Jeppesen approach plates.I think you're looking for the Sectional VFR charts, which are quite difficult to get online. Probably the best way is to go to http://maps.myairplane.com. At the left, you can select which chart you'd like to see (in your case I think Chicago and St. Louis). Then you can save or download parts of it. :)Cheers,http://home.planet.nl/~duijn181/cu2/koen.jpg
