January 10, 200422 yr thanks koen! heres another question that i have.i have noticed that 3 of the 4 flight plans (and i have seen others) dont seem to have sids, but instead have DCT.... so i was wondering what DCT stands for and is it important? thanksJeff who is enjoying the FPs
January 11, 200422 yr Hi Jeff,DCT stands for "direct". At the beginning of a flightplan, it usually means that you let the air traffic control decide whether it assigns a proper SID or vector you after takeoff to the first waypoint. For example, in the flightplan for ACA703 above, the ATC will assign you the LGA9 departure, or let you proceed direct GAYEL after takeoff. :)Cheers,http://home.planet.nl/~duijn181/cu2/koen.jpg
