February 26, 200422 yr I need a reference that will help me decipher commercial f/p terminology. I looked for FAQ for assistance. My question deals with a F/P with info following a fix or vor:IIU/N0492F310 OR KAIIN/N0480F350I am guessing since it is 4,000' that this is a point for a step climb, but what does N0492 and N0480 refer to?Thank you,Terry Eshenour
February 26, 200422 yr Hi Terry,N0492 and N0480 stand for the true airspeed in knots (i.e. 492 and 480 knots)...Maybe you want to read http://www.iaopa.org/downloads/fltpln.pdf :)Cheers,http://home.planet.nl/~duijn181/cu2/koen.jpg
