Hi,I am flying from Athens LGAV to Amsterdam EHAM next month (in real life that is) and as usual i want to pre-try the flight in FS9. Problem is in my search for flight plans for this flight, i found two or three variations of the route. Anyone has any idea what the actual route at present day is?Thank you in Advance

Thanks very much for that Koen,After further search i tend to believe that perhaps the real worldroute nowadays goes from KRK to BRD and then follows airway UL612 allthe way up the eastern italian coast to CHI and then as follows: UZ906BZO, UL12 KPT, UL608 BUB UG120 HELEN. I found this in the Dutch Vaccsite and i have the impression it seems faster. I would appreciateyour opinion on that.I would like some help on another topic too. Programming FMC's is notmy thing so lately i fly a DC-9 Cargo and it's really fun. Problem isthat i need really good enroute charts to do my flight from LGAV toEHAM, complete with NAVAIDS and Radials. I can't seem to find completeenroute charts for all the countries that i will fly over (inparticular German and Austrian airspace) in their corresponding vaccsites or elsewhere.Any ideas? I would gladly appreciate some help, even about where ican find payware stuff (jeppesen maybe? do they have enroute or justapproach plates?)Thanks again in advance

Hi again,The route on the DutchVACC site is indeed a little bit faster, but not valid anymore. A few months ago, the Italian aviation authorities made airway UP873 between OLGAT and ENOXA compulsory for traffic routing via KRK, which means the route you proposed is not available nowadays. If you really want to approach EHAM from the south, this is the fastest route I can come up with: PIKAD UN138 KRK UP873 ENOXA UL740 GARGA UL613 AKADO UP187 BZO UL12 KPT UL608 BUB UG120 HELEN. But when the weather conditions are the same as on my previous route, that's about 9 minutes longer...As for the enroute charts, I would suggest the same as Adriano. If you find them difficult to print/read however, perhaps the best things to do is to get some Jeppesen charts indeed. :)Cheers,http://home.planet.nl/~duijn181/cu2/koen.jpg

Hi Koen,Thanks very much for your help. i finally seem to find my way to EHAM. Do you suggest that it would be better not to approach EHAM from the south? Would it be preferable to try from the east?Cheers,ddiam1

Hi,Try https://164.214.2.62/dafif/enroutechartscur/. There you'll find enroute charts for the whole world, except the USA (which aren't available online yet as far as I know). In fact it doesn't matter much if you fly to EHAM from the east or the south, but it seems most operators prefer using the first route I posted. It's up to you however to decide which route you want to fly... :)Cheers,http://home.planet.nl/~duijn181/cu2/koen.jpg
