April 10, 200521 yr Wils,I believe I've said this before, but if you say "as filed for today" you let us all think they're real plans, while you've clearly made them yourself. So next time, please clearly state these are generic flightplans and not real world ones. In fact there are still a few errors in your plans the IFPUV doesn't warn you for...Thanks,http://home.planet.nl/~duijn181/cu2/koen.jpg
April 10, 200521 yr Koen,How do you know they are or are not real from flights today?Interested to knowWils
April 10, 200521 yr Because I've been working in aviation operations long enough to know what should and what shouldn't be in a flightplan...Lets take the DLH602 flightplan you've just posted as an example. I immediately notice there's a speed change from knots to km/h at ADINA, which isn't necessary because on UL851 is one of the exceptions to filing speeds in km/h. Further, outside RVSM airspace (past DASIS), you can only fly FL370 or FL410 eastbound; FL390 is a westbound level. Also the EETs are incorrect (e.g. EDUU is missing). For the above flightplan, you've to file an odd altitude between WOODY and MEDIL, the EETs are missing and the speed is incorrect.Let me make clear I don't care if you're posting flightplans or not. In fact I'm quite happy with it because you help people. But just don't claim flightplans are real world ones when they are not...Cheers,http://home.planet.nl/~duijn181/cu2/koen.jpg
April 10, 200521 yr Koen,I dont care so much if it is real or not either, like you, just offering some help. I do care if I what I state is refuted as not being true!If you are working in ops now or indeed have someone working in front of an RCA terminal now, have a contact in IFPU or ATC etc, ask them to check if these flight plans are real, as of today, filed by the relevent company or not!Cheers,Wils
April 10, 200521 yr Wils,I care about being honest to other people, and not claiming something that isn't true. Anyway, I'm not the one who should be correcting you, so lets both shup up now and not behave like little kids. :)Cheers,http://home.planet.nl/~duijn181/cu2/koen.jpg
April 10, 200521 yr Not behaving like a kid as I'm far too old to do so I'm afraid ;-)I have to respond as you are adamant they are fake. I'm saying they are not.Just to advise that I'm one of those fortunate to work in the aviation industry and able to access programs and tools available for it.To give something back to everyone for also giving me hours of flying pleasure, I'm able to find flight plans filed on the day directly from IFPU. The flight plans you have questioned above are directly from the system, not my doing. I have yet to see a non-commercial public system available that can compute and put all the information as I have presented, including all the required fields. If there is one available, tell everyone here so they can find there own FPL'sThe members can believe what they want at the end of the day, are they real, as flown by airlines on the day or are they fake as you say.Wils
April 10, 200521 yr Wils,I'm not willing to discuss this point any further here, so please check your email :)Cheers,http://home.planet.nl/~duijn181/cu2/koen.jpg
April 10, 200521 yr I'm sure I owe Wils a big apology here, because the flightplans he posted are in fact real world ones, and I'm sorry for all the confusion caused by me. Whether there are a few small mistakes in the flightplans or not, it is what the airlines actually filed. :-rollSo now you all forget me for a while, and ask Mr. Wils for some nice real world flightplans. :-lolCheers,http://home.planet.nl/~duijn181/cu2/koen.jpg
