December 1, 200223 yr If there was one thing I could add to the DC-9 from Flight1 would be an option to set it to load "cold and dark" by default. Kind of like the option that is in the Dreamfleet 737. I know I could set it up to be cold and dark myself in a situation but, I'm afraid I would miss something that should have been turned off.Any way what a great addon! I still get alarms during the flight so I guess I have more reading to do. Hope you all are having as much fun as I am.By the way this addon really ###### my wife off. She just doesn't understand the entertainment value of FS. ... Thanks,JohnnyKTUS
December 1, 200223 yr Hey Johhny, I agree, a "cold and dark" setting in the loadomatic would be nice, hopefully they could add it later on.
December 1, 200223 yr Hi JohnnyWe are looking into something like this.Send your wife my love....:-lol Regards,Jim Rhoads
December 1, 200223 yr That sounds great!I relly miss a option button in the load manager for COLD AND DARK COCKPIT.Regards,Johan
December 1, 200223 yr Yes, we are working on this. Cold and dark is easy, and we will be able to accomplish this with a saved flight. This should be available shortly. We are also kicking around some additional ideas. For example, some people want just the opposite. An "up and running" startup, where everything including the non-FS modeled systems (like the cabin pressurization and APU) are all working at startup as well. This will require more than just working an FS saved flight, and will require a little programming. But just about everything is doable with a little initiative. We are always open to ideas on enhancements/ improvements.http://www.fsheartland.net/images/Signature_F1.jpg
December 2, 200223 yr PIC handles this nicely with buttons on the overhead:cold and darkengines startedready to taxi
