In need of the FS2002.cfg

Featured Replies

Hi allI've lost (destroyed is a best word..) my fs2002.cfg, and, of course, i do not have any backup of this file.Is there someone here who can mail me this file (so i dont have to reinstall fs2002) ?plz plz plzThanks in advance ;)

im pretty sure that MSFS will rebuild the fs2002.cfg so i think you can delete it...

You do not need a copy of anyone's fs2002.cfg - because each one is individual to each computer( more or less). When u run fs2002 it makes a for the first time it makes a fs2002.cfg file - anything u alter inside FS2002 it rewrites this to your fs2002.cfg file. So if u want to restart with a new fs2002.cfg file u can delete the one u have ( better make a copy first) and FS2002 will make u a new one when u exit Fs2002. You can alter various things in the fs2002.cfg file outside of Fs2002, and you can find out about these on various FLTSim sites on the web. Are u having probs running FS2002 ????

Greetings MisterYoko!Odd question... nobody can do that for you, on account of nobody having YOUR config file, unless you have sent it to somebody. You'll simply have to recreate your settings and assignments and such, or you may just leave them the default way, i.e. the way FS creates its config file for your system next time you start the program up. It's a bit of a bother indeed, re-setting and re-assigning, but on the other hand: it's not really the end of the world (grin)!Jaap Verduijn.
