Connecting buttons via 64BTN Module

Featured Replies

Hi folks!I want to test my epic system (epic usb, first expansion, aba module and 3x 64btn modules) so I have connected one button to the first 64btn module. Then I've made a simple epl program like this:#define FASTSCAN 0definemodule(0,FASTSCAN,0,7)compiling and loading is working fine, but when i view the EPICInfo dialog and try to toggle my button nothing happens..what am i doing wrong???thanks,Tobias Stumpfl

You will need a few more things before you see any activity.Take a look at my code here:http://www.avsim.com/bluesideup/_mycode/myeplcode.htmThis is for a 777 sim, but you should take note of the DEVICES.HPL file, (yours will differ but not by much.)Pick and choose what you need.. that should get you a lot closer to success..Rar

I had exactly the same problem, but with the ISA EPIC version. Here is a fix that works for the ISA version, might be worth a try with the USB version......Definemodule (0,0,0,7) ; for digital inputs on module 0 (48 inputs on the expansion module) fastscan inputsDefinemodule (1,1,0,16) ; for digital inputs on module 1 (128 inputs on 2 cards 64BTN) slowscan inputsDefinemodule (2,1,0,16) ; for digital inputs on module 2 (128 inputs on 2 cards 64BTN) slowscan inputs
