FF sticks configuration

Recommended Posts

Guest ha5mvo

Hi all!I'm using a ff stick to fly my planes. for many aircrafts it works fine and from what i rekon gives the right "feel" a good example is the 767 PIC.However, with some others the stick becoms somewhat unstable and tends to "kick" for even the slightest movements. From my experience it, depends more on the .air file than on the force feedback section in the aircraft cfg, although I can not confirm this.so, does anybody know wether there is a way to configure the stick and prevent those kicks?BTW, mine is a Sidewinder FF proCheersHA5

Its possible. I believe it was the version 2 of Yeodesign's 737-200 that had changed some "unknown" variable in the *.air file that caused the aircraft to become unstable. A poster returned the values to the default 737-400 numbers and the problem was fixed. It could be these unknown are scalars that cause undesireable traits in the FF.
