I seem to remember a couple months ago that Ron Blevins was shutting RSB down. I don't have any specifics, though. Anyone remember the information, or when it happened?

Ron sent out an email to his customers announcing the closure. I received it in early October, and he said at that time in part:(quote)Dear RSB Productions' customers, Greetings to all from northeast Texas! We are writing each of you to announce the closure of RSB Productions. We will attempt (but not guarantee) to keep the sight open for credit card purchases until the end of the month. After that we will have web page access for a couple of more weeks. If you have any last minute purchases to make we suggest you log on and handle this as soon as possible since credit card closure could occur at any time. We have three reasons for this. First, technology is rapidly passing us by. Static aircraft for example are no longer available for commercial endeavors without substantial expense. Our older copyright granted designs are simply no longer competitive. We started our business seven years ago on the premise that we would be on the "cutting edge" of scenery design. From FS95, to FS98, to FS2000 we were -- but no longer. Second, our sales have declined to the point we are no longer profitable in the credit card regime. Our monthly expenses to process orders is more than our monthly intake and overhead. Third, and on a more upbeat note, we simply would like to try other avenues. During the past seven years I've been able to get my "real" pilot's license. With that I've added Instrument, Commercial, Certified Flight Instructor, and Certified Flight Instructor Instruments.
