December 26, 200223 yr Hello all & happy holidays ! I am not sure what is wrong but I am not getting the correct weather with Active Sky.. for example .. today ..sitting at KTEB .. FAA weather shows :KTEB 261751Z 30017G26KT 10SM BKN037 02/M04 A2991 RMK AO2 PK WND 31026/1751 SLP128 RMK 4/005 P0008 60021 T00221039 10022 21011 53002= and this is what I am getting with Active Sky :(Dynamic)-KTEB 261943Z 32010KT P6SM SKC 02/M04 A2989And what I get with FSMETEOKTEB 261651Z 32010G20KT 280V350 10SM FEW025 02/M04 A2989 RMK AO2 SLP122 P0013 T00171044 I had the same problem yesterday (had a big storm here in NJ) weather data was not correct (no snow.. cloud coverage totally wrong, wind wrong as well)My FSUIPC are set as documented (copied the .ini file provided and matched settings with the ones shown in the doc)I really would love to use the product but I am not getting the correct weather... please help .. thank you in advanceRegardsJohn
December 26, 200223 yr John,When you see (Dynamic) in front of the station report, that means that the TAF data is being used since it is more current. The TAF is a prediction and not the measured METAR data for the past hour, so it may not accurately reflect the current weather, especially during dramatically changing events.Try going into the Options section and unchecking the TAF box. Click Save, then click Refresh and see what you get. When the TAF box is unchecked, you will only get the METAR reports, no matter how old the most current reading.Bruce
