July 19, 200421 yr Please what are your fsuipc settings with AS2004 for visibility tab? Thanks in advanceTunka
July 19, 200421 yr Commercial Member AS2004 as far as I understand it controlls all the FSUIPC functions that it needs dynamically - all you have to do is press the "Minimum Weather Defaults" button on the first FSUPIC page. The next version of the MR2 is supposed to stop the abrupt visbility transitions according to what Damian said... July 19, 200421 yr I might be wrong, but this is not entirely true as far as I've understand it.In addition to AS2004 settings, you actually can set FSUIPC settings (registered version) to your likings. Press the "Minimum Weather Defaults" and go from there...Jim or Damian, please correct me if I'm wrong ;-)
July 20, 200421 yr With new FSUIPC and AS2004 I have been having a lot of unsmooth conditions, be it weather popping, winds instantly changing directions and visibility snaps. I've reverted to using FSUIPC's visibility smoothing and wind smoothing to make it flyable again.
July 21, 200421 yr with fsuipc 330 and latest published beta I'm having a problem with overcast: from above the overcast layer I can see below clearly. While descending into the overcast layer the visibility starts to decrease (decrease by 20%) and then snaps into white (as I'm in the overcast layer).if trepassing the overcast layer from below (going up) the visibility starts increasing by 20% and then then snaps from white to clear sky. Also the clouds (mostly cumulus )snap (change position very quickly).I use fsuipc registered with vis smoothing and limits (all on).as2004:taf ON, fs system time (no online options)vis smooth OFF and vis limits OFF.Just wondering if it could be affetted by fsuipc:I use 35 clear sky, 18 overcast 14 rainy 10.It almost seems trying to pass from 35 to 18 vis (as trepassing the overcast) but for some reasons after 2-3 seconds of gradual change it applies the 18 vis limit straight away.....
