Does FS2004 still have left tendency in twins?

Recommended Posts

Hi, I am still using FS2002 and found that the default twin engined aircrafts has a left turn tendency when takeoff. I understand such thing is not correct since the 2 props should counter the yaw force (except thay turn in the same way). I'm wondering this fault still occurs in FS2004?

Uh, depends on the aircraft, sir. The Baron does NOT have counter-rotating props. And yes, it'll drift to the left if you don't counter with rudder.

I was having a terrible problem with the dc3, then brought up the thottle quadrant and saw that one engine was 20% less power than the other. Made them equal, saved the situation, and it was fine.

thanks for the input. I'm now happy to know the sim is accurate.
