I flew all over the NorthEast amd North Central US today and the snowstorms in Active sky we "Fantastic!!!" Words can't describe how the overcast, snow, 300 foot ceilings, 1/2 mile vis in blowing snow, cloud effects all blended together to make winter flying a really great experience. I grew up in the Northeast and I felt like I was taking a winter trip back home via FS9 and Active sky.

All that snow may be quite the fun for you but try living here in the NorthEast. I shoveled snow most of the day yesterday.My airplane (virtual) is actually on the tarmack in New Orleans. where it belongs. Ha haKiddingAllen

I purchased Active sky last night and downloaded the current conditions at the time. As I live near Midway airport (in Chicago for non mid-westerners) I thought to take a look at the new weather engine in my area and WOW! I was awstruck at the detail and accuracy of it all. Exactly like you said with low ceiling and snow flurries. Just like home (sniff). LOL ! :)
