January 14, 200521 yr Sir,Today for the first time AS didn't seem to work correctly with FS9. I was flying out of Deadhorse, AK (PASC). Everything in AS matched the metar report I downloaded from the web. Even though AS and the active radar reported -39 F as the temp, the IOAT on the cockpit panel still read 58F along with the ATIS report. Everything else, clouds, wind, etc seemed to match up correctly. I tried reloading AS several times according to the recommended order for realistic procedures listed in the manual, but always the same result. I verified all my FS9 settings were as listed in the manual. The funny thing is I tried moving back to my home airport of KGRK (Killeen, TX) and the temp displayed correctly, but not when I went back to PASC. I am using B163. Attached is a screenshot to better show I am talking about.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/103607.jpg Brad
January 15, 200521 yr Hi,Could have been a data problem because there is no dewpoint temperature in the METAR. This could have thrown FS off. I suggest watching this to see if it keeps happening!Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004proudsupporter.jpg
