Strange Problems Again into KSLC

Featured Replies

HI!! I flew another time into KSLC (Salt Lake City, Utah), and the weather was strange. Just like the last flight I did into SLC, the wind starts to shift all over the place between BCE and FFU VORs. At the beginning of the flight the nav log stated that the wind at SLC was 150 at 5. The AR just reported 360/0. About the time I started my descent into SLC, the AR stated 150 at 8. So I planned for an approach into that wind. Well, about 9000 feet the weather went clear! 29.92, not 30.08 as it was shown all along, and the sky was completely clear. Even the wind was gone!? This happens a lot now. Is their a clear problem with the destination force as the other threads have stated? Also, any reason/ideas why the wind always goes from 0 to the actual real-time speed between those 2 VORs?Thanks

- Chris

Hi Chris,1. Turn Force Destination Off for now.2. In the AR Options lower the update value to one.3. Check your data with AS and the Shift/Z display in FS.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004proudsupporter.jpg
