April 7, 200521 yr Hello,I did read on one of the topics that we need to select both 1/ Weather setting off2/ Normal defaultQ: Why not an option in AS or ASV so that this is done automatically? Thanks in advance Emile EBBR Z590 Aorus Elite, i9-11900K 3.5Ghz Nvidia RTX 5070, 32 GB Mem, SSD 3 Tera , 3 monitors Win11 Pro X64 LM P3D V6.1 Little Nav Map Hifisim Nvidia 591.44
April 7, 200521 yr Commercial Member Actually the correct sequence of configuring FSUIPC 3.47 for use with ActiveSky is as follows:- In FSUIPC setup all your non-weather configuration options as you require them e.g. for things like handling control spikes, etc..- Before using external weather programmes like ActiveSky press Weather Settings Off followed by Clear All Weather. Weather Settings Off just sets all weather related options off so they can then be set by the external programme, and leaves non-weather related options as you'd set them.Reason I know this is because I was the person who suggested to Pete Dowson to change the functionality and naming on the button as the previous version (Minimum Weather Settings) was too obtrusive and actually reset all your other non-weather related options as well.BTW - Pressing Normal Default just returns all options in FSUIPC to the defaults which are set if you never changed anything in the first place. If you have set any other options which you regularly use, pressing Normal Defaults is not something you want to do as you'll have to put your custom setup back in again.

April 8, 200521 yr Hi,Because for AS this feature is brand new and would need to be coded. For ASV I have not seen it so I can't say if this is there or not. We'll let Damian come along! It is a good idea though!!Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004proudsupporter.jpg
