How can I get the autospoilers to deploy when I hit the brakes at touchdown? I looked at the 737 manual and it said they should deploy when you hit the brakes at touchdown if they are armed. I have them armed, prior to landing but the only way they deploy is when I hit F2 to reverse thrust. I also had a buttton assingned to reverse thrust on my joystick, but the autospoilers would not deploy at all even though they were armed, I guess it won't work using a joystick button. Would appreciate any help! Thanks

Hi there.This is a common problem. It sounds like your joystick needs recalibrated, the spoilers will only deploy if your thrust is at idle. Sometimes when you calibrate your joystick it will not let the throttle reduce to exactly zero. When recalibrating your throttle try and not reduce the lever back to its stop.
