June 15, 200520 yr Hi,Could you see the clouds? Also, surrounding stations may have blended the weather after take off. Remember a station has a direct influence range of 2 miles. After that distance a blend is used.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg
June 15, 200520 yr Just want to add that it was few clouds at 400 ft and the overcast was at 800 ft. Shortly after takeoff another staion called cwul kicks in with a report which like Jim says blends in the wx, meaning if you see or don't see surrounding clouds is really important in this case.
