July 3, 200520 yr if i'm doing a long aul and timezone changes does the wx of the new time appear since at that time wx was different. i guess using system time this wont matter but what about fs time?
July 3, 200520 yr No because weather is based on zulu time to eliminate timezones. Also FS does not recognize time zones by default while flying.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg
July 3, 200520 yr Author So why does the time change by default? i'm not being sarcastic i'm trying to learn something.
July 3, 200520 yr So what you see in FS is when you switch time zones the clock changes an hour? Now, I am not talking about the Time/Season menu, I am taking about the clock in a plane.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg
July 4, 200520 yr Author I'm confused isn't the time zone in fs the same as saying the clock changes in the plane? Not time season menu the actual time.
July 4, 200520 yr Hi Joe,No it is not! The clock in an FS plane will never jump an hour when changing time zones.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg
July 4, 200520 yr There are some utilities out there: FS Real Time is one of them. There has been a thread in the General Fouum discussing this.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg
