I just installed ASV E and tried to download the current weather and kept getting an ASV message: "there was an error downloading..try again" I fired up AS4.5 and it had no problem downloading the current weather, so I don't think the problem is with my internet connection. Is there something I need to do in ASVE? Mike

I think you are right. What was confusing me initially was the first time I ran ASVE the firewall/AV was turned off. However, something was still running in the background. After rebooting I then had to reset the firewall as you suggested and it seems to be downloading now. Sorry for the confusion, but my computer was giving me mixed signals :-) Mike
