ASV in combination with FE - how does it work?

Featured Replies

Hello, this is my first posting in english

Hello and Welcome!1. Yes, with AE textures or FE textures.2. Yes, yes.3. You would need to use the 64 bit clouds. DXT would also help. I don't think we have any screen shots of those clouds.4. The textures would only get over-written in FS04. If you didn't like the AE textures you could use FE to load new textures into FS04.5. Yes, but not with FE. It will be up to FE to add this feature.6. The update will be the version from SimMarket! You should always watch our web page for future Updates. Please write back if you need more help!Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg

Hello Jim,yes it helps ;) thank you!Best whishesRoland

In relation to his question #4...What about reloading the texture sets that were installed before an install of ASVE (FE not being including in this situation)? In other words, If I install ASVE and use the cloud sets that came with it, but later decide I want my other cloud texture sets back and still want to use the other functions of ASVE, how can I do this? Is this possible? Thanks!

Hello,Have i to restore the default textures from the folder manually, or will they restored by deinstallation of ASV? Or can i get the default-textures via buttom inside ASV?I just purchased ASV now and will test it with and without FE and than decide, which textures i will use in the future. Thanks,Roland
