Hello,I installed ASVE on my old flight sim machine. The directory path is C:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFlight Simulator 9ModulesASVASV.exeI also have the Activeradar installed in C:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFlight Simulator 9ModulesActiveRadarI am unable to complete the activeradarconnector.exe v2 install because I get an error - "Program error ... exiting(verify proper file locations and Mapped Drive to the ROOT of the WideFS/ASV machine)."I have mapped a drive Z to the C:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFlight Simulator 9ModulesASVASV.exe directory with level 5 sharing per microsofts website:Level 5: Shared on the network(Read and Write)This level is the most available and least secure access level. Any user (local or remote) can read, write, change, or delete a file in a folder shared at this access level. Microsoft recommends that this level be used only for a closed network that has a firewall configured. All local users including the Guest account can also read and modify the files. To configure a folder and all the files in it to Level 5, follow these steps:1. Right-click the folder, and then click Sharing and Security 2. Click to select the Share this folder on the network check box, and then click OK. Local NTFS Permissions:

On the FS PC:I have ActiveRadar folder AND ActiveRadar.dll outside of ActiveRadar folder in the Modules directory.Same setup on Non FS PC/WideFS PC.When I load FS I can open the activeradar console but I am not getting station information. I am getting the weather from ASVE but I am not seeing (for example, the airport KORD in the station name). It says nearest station 1000nm which indicates a problem.Any more ideas? Thanks Jim.

Yes. I do not use FS on the machine that ASVE is on. I am running the WideClient on this machine.

Jim,I will try that. My ASVE installation is installed in the flight simulator directory on the OLD machine. When I uninstall FS9 will it affect the ASVE installation in the Modules folder? Thanks again.

Also, my Activesky 2004.5 installation is in that modules folder also on the old FS machine. If I uninstall FS will that blow away those two install folders because I will not be able to use the setup.exe to reinstall ASVE.Any ideas before I uninstalll? Thanks,
