In addition to Jim's tips, you can also try to set max visibility to 29 miles via ASV or FSUIPC (if you have registered FSUIPC). This has also the side effect of removing the noticeable FS9 visibility shift between 30->29 miles, and preventing clouds pop-up (if you have set cloud draw distance to 30).Marco
