December 23, 200520 yr I just downloaded the update ASv6 upgrade.I have the following listed in the XP Add Remove sectionASV Active Sky ver 5ASV Enhanced UpgradeI will unwrap the upgrade and let it verifyI will uninstall ASV Enhanced UpgradeI will uninstall ASV Active Sky ver 5I will then run some type of installer for ASv6... this should workquestion:I remember running some type of ASV application that reduced the size of the cloud sets (resolution?) to enhance speed. This was reqired to be done on the my PC due to some reason. I am sorry that I do not recall the exact process I went thru, it was easy, took a bit of time but was a single button press in ASV. I think it was DXT enable MIPS??Anyway, will I lose these 'faster' textures with this upgrade?if so, what can be done to get me the 'faster' sets? December 23, 200520 yr Hi Mike,In ASG the option for DXT is there. No conversions will be needed. MIPS are automatically enables so no option there. Make sure to save your settings on that screen.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg
