Question about post-installation clean-up

Featured Replies

I followed the installation instructions to a T and have now completed the process succesfully. However, I noticed that my FS9/modules directory still contains the old ASV folder with some residual files and folders:"ActiveEnvironment" (folder with "FS_Texture_Backup" and "Themes" folders, plus "action.log")"SavedWeather" (folder)"Voice" (folder with "Voice1" and "Voice2" folders)"as2004.log" (file)"ASV.log" (file)"wx-export.met" (file)Can these all be deleted, or does ASv6 still access the ASV folder for something?

Hello,After installing ASV6, I removed ASV and deleted all remaining ASV folders and files without any problem afterwards.

Another quick related question....can the "ASVE Upgrede from AS2004.5 Installer" and the ASV v6 Install Unwrapper" be removed through the control panel with no adverse effect?

Thanks Jim,Just so that I am completely clear, the AS2004.5 installer can be removed, but the Unwrapper folder should be backed up. Where might I ask is the location of this folder? Or is that also considered where the full ASv6 setup.exe file is?Bruce
