Starting ASV6 problems

Featured Replies

I had this same same problem with ASV 5 so I thought if I bought the version 6 it would go away, my problem is every time I click the ASV6 icon it says please wait while windows configures ASV6 graphics and ASV6. Then it says "The feature you are tyring to use is on a network resource that is unavailable." Then, "Click OK to try again or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package "Active Sky version 6 and ACTIVESKY Graphics.msi in the box below."" So when I locate the file it doesn't work and then says, "Error 1706. No valid source could be found for product Activesky Version 6 and Activesky Graphics. The WIndows Installer cannot continue." Then I geta dialog box titled ASV6 Run-time error 339 Component 'ChilkatZip2.dll' or one of its dependencies not correctly regestered: a file is missing or invalid.

Hi,Sorry you are still having trouble. We need to uninstall everything and start over. Use the Add/Remove portion of the Control Panel and start un-installing things in reverse order. Then download and use this:http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?...Ben-us%3B290301Clean up all signs of Active Sky in your registry. Then reinstall just ASv6. If you need a link, e-mail me at [email protected] with your purchase information. After that let's see what messages you are left with. I have an idea about the last message as well, but we'll wait on that one. Please let us know!Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.comhttp://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6...development.jpg http://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6-banner-proud.jpg
