February 17, 200620 yr Hi folks,Please could someone explain what the overcast enhancement does? Does it double the layer thickness (vertical), add a second layer or just patch up any holes? The reason I ask is that I have found a quite pleasent FPS increase by turning off this option and have not yet managed to spot a big visual difference...On a slightly related note - I often see lines and corners in the overcast layers when above them as if they were being rendered as interleaved plates - is this normal??Cheers,Geoff

It fixed the problem for me.As to why it looks like that, I believe it is a problem with the way FS9 renders the clouds in certain situations. As always, YMMV. :-)...jim
