GEPro and ASV6 integration

Featured Replies

Hello,I have read the document ""ASv6 and GE Pro Integration" and followed the steps. Everything seems to be working. GEPro (on FS machine) was able to read the METAR data from (ASV6 which is on the client machine).I did not install+save because the install button on GEPro said install and start FS.This may sound like a stupid question but I already had FS running (minimized). I started FS because I needed Wideclient to connect so the other programs, ASV, radar contact, etc could start.Per instructions I understand with WIDEFS setup you start ASV then GEPro afterwards. Can someone tell me after GEPro grabs METAR what is the next step AND should FS be running?

Hi,Totally off topic, but please limit your banners to one, per the AVSIM rules. One thing to remember: If FS04 is running no submitted textures will be shown until you restart FS04. So in general your textures are one FS04 session behind.I am not a huge WideFS expert, but I am pretty sure that WideFS and FSUIPC will connect if FS04 is not running. After GE Pro grabs the METAR, submit textures to FS04 while FS04 is closed. Or set things to work in Auto Submit Mode through the new options. Please let me know if you have other questions!Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/
