Has anyone tried these textures by Denis Voytenko? How are they ? Any effects on frame rates ?

I think I have them, but I didn't save the readme, so I'm not 100% sure. I definately have hi-rez building textures, and they look good. Anything with a higher resolution will put more demand on your system. I can't say I noticed an effect on framerates because I've done so much tweaking and fiddling. I will say this -- even with the high-res building textures and Gerrish Gray's autogen buildings and trees, I seem to have found a balance of settings (most sliders 1/2-2/3) that is much smoother than I've ever had before, and it looks great.P4 2.0 Northwood512MB DDR333GF3 Ti200SB Audigy GamerIBM 45GB 7200rpmMS FFBk 2

Thanks for the input. I have a fairly smoothly operating system for an old version (PIII, 550 mHz, 512 Meg RAM), so I don't want to worsen it with more demanding software.Dave Hinson
