October 14, 200619 yr Hello, all of a sudden, now that I have reinstalled everything, I can't get my ASv6 SU5 to update with FSBuild. Is there a known problem that FSBuild doesn't take wind info from ASv6 anymore maybe? Thanks,Xander Xander Koote All round aviation geek 1st Officer Boeing 777
October 15, 200619 yr Hi,Not sure what the problem could be. Nothing has changed from our end. Do you still have FSB set up the same way as before? Remember you do need to point it to the ASv6 folder. Please let us know.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/
October 16, 200619 yr It works fine with FSBuild. As Jim stated you have to tell FSBuild where AS6 is on the hard drive. Also, don't forget to SAVE the options (that one always gets me :).
October 16, 200619 yr hiHow do you tell FsBuild where active sky is,please.I have both but did not know you could link the info between them. Many thanks Heinz
October 16, 200619 yr Hi,It's in FSB options. I am not exactly sure but something to the effect of Weather folder path or weather folder. I know some other users know and I know if you search just this forum for FSBuild you will get a few posts for this!Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/

October 17, 200619 yr HiThanks for the reply-I have managed to set a path in FSB for AS,butI haven't noticed anything new.Could you please tell me what is suppose to happen once I create a flight plan in FSB.Is the flight plan suppose to go load in AS or what?Would appreciate all help. Many thanks.Heinz
October 17, 200619 yr Hi,No, you still need to import the plan into ASv6. What this relationship does is it allows winds data to be read by FSB for flight and fuel planning purposes.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/
