What is FSUIPC?

Featured Replies

Hi all. I've been seeing that FSUIPC seems to be the solution to the Fokker 100PAB A320 computer lock-ups. I have these folders tucked away because I fear lock-ups too. And we know FS2K2 can be a little twichy, so I don't want to anger it anymore than I have to.So what's this magic program?I don't multiplayer or fly on-line. Is it really that mandatory to have? Any responses would be MUCH appreciated! Thanks!Rick

FSUIPC is perhaps one of the most versitle modules for Flight Simulator. it was created by Peter Dowson, and is used with hundreds of various add-ons. I can't imagine what the Flight Sim world would be without it.Anyhow, you can download it from Peter's site at http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.htmlRyan-Flightpro08 :-cool VATSIM Pilot/ControllerZLA ARTCC Senior Controller (C-3)SAN TRACON Lead ASRC (Advanced Simulated Radar Client) Beta Tester-----------------------------My "Home Made" System Specs:Intel Pentium 4 2.2GHz ProcessorTurbo Gamer ATX Mid-Tower with 420W Power SupplyEPoX 4G4A Motherboard with Intel 845G ChipsetVisiontek XTASY GeForce4 128MB Ti4600 (Det 30.30 Drivers)512MB PC2100 DDR RAM40GB Matrox 7200RPM Hard DriveWindows XP Home Edition SP1*No CPU or GPU Overclocking*3dMark2001SE Score: 11298-----------------------------Click [link:ftp.avsim.com/library/esearch.php?DLID=&Name=&FileName=&Author=Ryan+Fretwell&CatID=Root]Here to Download my American Eagle POSKY CRJ-200!

Rick,FSUIPC is one of the most valuable bit of software ever created for FS. It allows externals programs to communicate with FS. Made by Peter Dawson - an unquestionable legend in anyone's language, you should check out his site: http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html . There is also a link there for the FSUIPC documentation which throughly explains all you ever wanted o know about it. I think the first paragrah is called "What Is FSUIPC?" :-lolFor all those who benifit in such a big way because of him, we are starting to think he is actually a wizard, and maybe, just maybe, there is actually some sort of magic involved :-scatterSubs
