December 7, 200619 yr Hi Gang,I just completed a flight from EGBB to EICK, and the weather was showing up as winds of 228/02, and yet from my house here which is only 14nm from BHX it is blowing an absolute gail.am I missing something, or have I done something wrong,I was looking forward to a really challenging flight, with lots of high winds etc, but didn't get any of them. Thanks,Fantastic program though, especially when run in conjunction with GE Pro and FE. December 7, 200619 yr Hi Steve,Thanks for the comments! Not real sure here. Could have been bad data from the station, a setting you have on, or maybe the winds were really like at the stations. For your settings I can suggest that you post your ASv6.ini file. Thanks, Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/

December 8, 200619 yr Hi Steve,Yes, I do have some suggestions!:1. Your Surface Wind Limit is 0.1. With that number so low you will always get calm winds. Not sure why you have it set so low, but that is why you did not see the gale winds the other day.2. Your Local Suppression Range should be 50 or greater.3. Favor Cumulus vs Stratus could be Off4. Global Writes should be Off.Please try these settings through the AS Options page and let us know!Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/
