April 18, 200719 yr Whenever As generates two cloud layers in fs9, I sometimes detect a confusing transparency issue. Let's say there's a cumulus layer below and a stratus above,(actual heights are unimportant). Whwn flying below, the stratus can appear to be behind the cumulus, as the latter is in the foreground and closer, but sometimes, the cumulus is very transparent making the stratus appear to be below the cumulus.Same thing from above; sometimes the stratus hides the cumulus, other times it's the reverse.I'm not sure what cloud layer takes precedence, visually speaking. Is there an issue here? or am I seeing ghosts?!Eytan Ornstein
April 19, 200719 yr Hi,We had another issue like this a few weeks ago. Make sure you have 3D clouds at 100% and that your Stratus separation is a fair value. Default is 7000.Please let us know, Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/
