May 18, 200719 yr Hi AllJust installed FSUIPC 4.10 registered version and my weather info banner after it initiates will not disappear unless I right click on the banner, and close the window.Never had this problem prior to installing the newest FSUIPC which Peter reports is necessary after installing SP1.Possibly there is a button I have not activated. If I disable the weather text in the option page I do not get the text across the top of my screen.Any assistance appreciated.Kenny G.
May 18, 200719 yr Hi Kenny,I have installed the new version, but I did not see this. However, the option you refer to is the option that controlls this through AS.Just as a "for sure" thing, set FSUIPC to default settings and weather settings Off. Then, if you do not want the banner, disable weather text through AS.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
May 19, 200719 yr Author Hi AllThe problem was with FSUIPC Version 4.10.Passed the problem off to Peter Dowson who sent me an updated DLL 4.103 which has fixed the problem.Apparently Version 4.10 was allowing the Text Screen to remain locked onto the FSX screen longer then normal.Problem fixed.Kenny G.
May 20, 200719 yr Hi Kenny,I'm having the same issue. Any chance I could get a copy of the DLL 4.103?
