Following on from Hans' post, I was wondering how AS6.5/ASX model turbulence. This is of particular interest here on the E coast of Australia, where the Wx is very wild at present.Does the data come solely from METARS?? Or does either process data from TAFs eg "MOD TURB BLW 5000FT", or SIGMETs eg "BRISBANE FIR SEV TURB FCST" or even the published ATIS eg "SIGWX: MOD TURB FORECAST BLW 5 THOUSAND FT. SEV TURB REPORTED 15 NM SOUTH EAST"?I'm rather glad I'm not flying r/w today.Love your work,Jeff
