September 3, 200718 yr Hi,We may need a few more details here. Your title refers to multiplayer, but your post is refering to a networked install. So which is it that you are trying to do? What steps have you taken so far? Please let us know,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
September 3, 200718 yr Author Hi JimSorry that I did not make my post clearer.I have two PCs running Windows Vista 64 bit each with a copy of FS-X Professional with SP1.I use the second PC to show additional views from my main computer (rather than wideview)I have ActiveSky running on the main PC however when the secondary machine tries to join a LAN hosted session it does not connect.I have read elsewhere that this is because ActiveSky injects some new weather points into FS-X which are not there by default. When the secondary PC tries to connect it is unable to do so because of the extra weather points. The workaround was supposedly to start FS-X without ActiveSky, join the session from the remote PC and then start ActiveSky. This however causes problems if the session is dropped for any reason.RegardsLufty
September 3, 200718 yr Hi,Correct, this is a feature of multiplayer from Microsoft. Yes, the work around is to start FSX, connect, and then start ASX.Something to try: try with virtual stations turned Off.Thanks, Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
