October 15, 200718 yr I am still using AS6.5 with FS9 due computer limitations. I have both Vatsim and Real world wx ticked in the options menu. I appreciate I live in the UK where the weather is not that brilliant but most of the time when I load up FS9 and AS initially the sky looks great, really good cloud formations, then 10 seconds later it goes all white.I have had to adjust the minimum visibilty to 5 sm because I mainly fly VFR in the UK on Vatsim and without making this adjustment its impossible to fly VFR.Is there any way to keep those great cloud formations without the white mist spoiling the view.My settings are basically default with Vatsim ticked and the visibility adjusted as mentioned.Glen Glen
October 15, 200718 yr Hi Glen,See if Use FS9 Haze is On. If it is try with it Off. Also keep in mind that if visibility is less than 10 sm, FS uses clouds to control the visibility and this may be what you are seeing. Please let us know,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
October 19, 200718 yr Author JimFS9 Haze is off, I think the problem may be as you said FS using clouds for visibility under 10 sm. I'll just have to live with it.RegardsGlen Glen
