November 20, 200718 yr Hi all, I'm getting these un-realistic looking clouds when flying at high altitudes (see screenshot). FS9 is set to use detailed 3d clouds with 100% coverage, and i'm using the Blueyonder theme pack. Can anyone help?
November 20, 200718 yr Hi,Do you have any soaring add-ons installed? Does that happen in all areas of the world? Please let us know.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
November 20, 200718 yr Author Hi Jim, thanks for your response. I dont have any soaring add-ons at all, and yes this is a global problem. It happens with all different themes as well. Hope you can help!
November 20, 200718 yr Author I was thinking maybe its the "fog layer generation". Would this cause the un-welcome clouds? I will uncheck it, and report my finds!Sam.
November 21, 200718 yr Hi,No, but I would suggest checking your FS cloud settings again. Do they stay this shape even if you get close to them?Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
November 21, 200718 yr Author Jim, i've re-checked my FS settings, all is in order. The clouds do stay the same, but look a little denser when decending through them.
November 21, 200718 yr Hi,OK how about a screen shot when you are close to them.Thanks!Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
